Janet B. Reid

Janet B. Reid, Ph.D. is an innovative thought leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is the founder and CEO of BRBS World, LLC. Before founding BRBS World, Dr. Reid was the Founder, Managing Partner, and Director of the international management consulting firm, Global Novations, LLC., where she and her team conducted client work in over 40 countries and specialized in leveraging diversity and inclusion to build clients’ organizational capacity, innovation, and market share. She has personally consulted on all aspects of talent management and domestic and global diversity and inclusion with Boards of Directors, CEOs, Presidents, and all levels of leaders and associates in hundreds of Fortune 500 multinational corporations; institutions of higher education; government agencies, and national not-for-profit organizations. Her great passion for higher education and healthcare have fueled a long history of community and business leadership including but not limited to her extensive involvement on key leadership boards at Ohio State University, Xavier University, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Procter and Gamble Company, the Cincinnati Branch Board of the Federal Reserve Bank, the Cincinnati USA Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, The Cincinnati branch of the American Red Cross, and the Greater Cincinnati YWCA. Co-author of The Phoenix Principles: Leveraging Inclusion to Transform your Company, The Phoenix Principles Work Book, and Intrinsic Inclusion. Dr. Reid and her long-time business partner V. Randolph Brown are currently teaming with a group of Swiss scientists to integrate advances in neuroscience and the behavioral sciences into D&I theory and practice.
